Merry Christmas Dessert Lovers! Okay, so I did consider writing a list of the best Christmas movies to watch this year… Home alone, Elf, Santa Claus the list goes on… 

However, I have compiled a list of movies that arent ‘Christmas Movies” per se but are most definitely Christmas movies… Do you know what I mean? Here is a list of awesome movies to get you in the Christmas mood… Plus these are the perfect movies for family time! 

1. Rise of the Guardians 

This one personal favourite! This movie remains one of the most underrated Christmas movies if you ask me! If you like a fun family movie with a deep meaningful storyline this one is for you! Jack Frost gives off major Elsa vibes as he adventures with Santa Claus, The Tooth Fairy, East Bunny and Sandman to save the children of the world from being overtaken with bad dreams! 

1. Narnia The Lion The Witch and the Wardrobe 

This one may not be underrated as a movie however it is definitely underrated as a Christmas movie! Narnia The Lion The Witch and the Wardrobe is the first of 3 movies and it just oozes Christmas vibes! Again this one is perfect for family time on Christmas eve! Not to mention going all out for a full 3 movie marathon! Adventure awaits in Narnia…

1. Harry Potter Marathon 

Goes without saying? A Christmas Harry Potter marathon is a must! Harry Potter is not classed as a “Christmas movie” but I think we can all agree that it totally is! The only question that remains is… Can you fit 8 movies in on Christmas day? 

1. Iron Man 3

Technically speaking, any Marvel movie has that family Christmas vibe! However, Iron Man 3 stands out as an MCU Christmas movie as it's set at Christmas time. Tony Stark listens to Jingle Bells and he creates his latest suit! Tony gift wraps some serious kick-ass in this Christmas themed superhero movie! 

1. Gremlins

I think we all have the gremlins Christmas carol scene etched into our minds! You can’t forget about sweet little Gizmo singing in his little Christmas hat! Getting the family together at Christmas for a thriller is an unmatched vibe!
